DV Yost (or just Yost) is a full time high school maths teacher, part time seminary student, and a certified Integrative Wellness & Life Coach.
Education
They graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2009 with a B.A. in Mathematics with an Educational Studies Minor and again in 2011 with a M.A. in Teaching. Since then, they have been teaching high school mathematics at a public IB school in Maryland. Their education research focus is on equitable mathematics pedagogy for students of all races, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
Theology
Yost is a Queer United Methodist that was raised Catholic and spent several years serving at an Assemblies of God church.
They have been studying theology informally for years and has finally started their Masters of Divinity at the Ecumenical Institute at St. Mary’s Seminary in the fall of 2018. Their theological interests currently focus on Spiritual Practices, Queer Theology, Liberation Theology, Radical Theology and Ecumenical ministries.

Life Coaching
Since 2016, DV has been certified as an Integrative Wellness & Life Coach. They have worked with many people so far to reflect on their lives by focusing simultaneously on Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual well-being. Everyone can bring substantial change to their lives, through one small step at a time.
Other Passions
Yost can also be found running, doing yoga, playing board games, enjoying nature, and drinking local beers. Yost spent many years running live sound and other production-related tasks at various events including for National Community Church.
